The past week provide us with some great games in MC and PG…

Lets start with cross town rivals Sherwood vs Blake.  It was a great competition that included a chipped tooth and overtime.

DuVal has been a force this season and we expected them to handle Wise who seems to be experiencing a down year.  Well Wise had other plans for us.  They hung in all game and look to be headed in the right direction for a run as we are getting closer to the playoffs.

Schedule Coming… First Game Announced

The first game VOLiSports will be covering this year will be Blake at Springbrook. The Consortium Rivalry will put two very good teams up against each other for Week 1. A great test for both teams in a meaningful game right off the bat. Two players to lookout for will be Kwabena Asante (Blake) and Mitchell Pollard (Springbrook).

The game highlights will be posted to VOLiSports after the game.
The game can be seen on MCPS Cable channel on your cable network.
( On MCPS – Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 7:30pm)
The game will also play on Verizon FiOS 1 – Date and Time (To Be Announced).
