Last night in Gaithersburg we witnessed a total dismantling of the Whitman Vikings. In our keys to the game provided by announcer Terry Changuris, he stated that the game would be won or lost based on how Whitman handles the Trojans tall wide receivers who double as fast tall defensive ends on defense. Those tall players Simba Gwashavamhu, Billy Brown and Sylvester Oni caused problems for the Vikings all night. Fetters hooked up with Gwashavamhu on a 58 yard pass play to get the Trojans on the scoreboard. On defense the Trojans pitched a shutout against the Viking offense. The Trojans move on to face Sherwood next Friday at 7pm.
Quince Orchard made a late comeback with 19 unanswered points to beat Seneca Valley and will travel to Damascus who beat Linganore 21-7.
Rockville ended a great season last night by losing to Southern 14-43.
