Wootton Wins at QO

3/2012- Wootton dominated QO tonight at QO.  Wootton almost shut out QO, but for a bizarre empty net goal towards the end of the game.  For Wootton, this game was a good confidence builder after getting the beat down against Gonzaga in the previous weekend. For QO – It was good for them to play a team at a different level.  They can only get better from an experience like this game.  If they look at the tape, they can learn alot from what Wootton did to them.  The goals flowed pretty easy for Wootton.

Week 3: Semi-Final Game (MC vs PG)

Quince Orchard dominates at home…  Both teams brought major support for this
big game to provide access to State Finals at Raven Stadium.  QO behind a tremendous
effort by their two runningbacks lead their way to the big game vs. Old Mill this coming Friday.

Mark Green nearly racked up 290 yards and Tyrell Williams did his damage to Flowers by ground
and air racking up nearly 150 yards.

We always pull for our home teams in the playoffs!!!

Go Cougars… and Go Douglass Eagles…  Bring the State Titles Back to
Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties…

The Game will be on replay of QO vs Flowers will be on Verizon On Demand by Wed.

On Thursday Night QO remained undefeated and extended its
record to 6-0.

Whitman put up a great effort thru the first half to keep the
game close at halftime the score was 17-10, but the Vikings
didn’t show up for the second half and QO finished them off
with a final score of 31-10.

Frazier Nearly Flawless As Hornets Advance

All the elements were in place for a special evening, two great teams, two huge crowds, a chill in the air and a game with everything on the line.

Damascus won the first battle for field position as Mark O’Hara started the party with a twenty yard run. After QO didn’t respond on the next series, the Hornets struck again with a 65 yard picture perfect play with Connor Frazier hitting Brandon Phelps for a second touchdown.

QO came out of the second half with a complete drive capped by a Drew Murphy to Harry Long touchdown pass.  On the next drive Frazier hit Phelps again to gain control of the game and they never looked back.

Damascus will continue their playoff run at home vs Wilde Lake this coming Friday Night at 7pm…

Linganore Shuts Out QO

Linganore lead by Robby Havenstein, Zach Zwinak and Nick Marth ran all over QO.  QO didnt have any answers on offense either.  QO constantly attempted to run up the middle of the field with Ben Sasu, but Havenstein and Zwinak stuffed the run all night.
